Q2 2024: Top Cat Games on iOS in the US Show Varied User Engagement

As we look back at the second quarter of 2024, cat-themed mobile games have continued to engage users on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower provides us with a glimpse into the performance of the top cat games, highlighting their downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

My Cat – Virtual Pet Games by Akita Limited Liability Company showed a steady performance with downloads peaking at 263K in late April and ending the quarter with 176K. Weekly active users hit a high of 984K in the third week of April, but a slight downtrend was observed, concluding at 771K active users.

Ponos Corporation's The Battle Cats experienced a remarkable spike in revenue in mid-June, reaching $127K. Downloads and active users followed a generally upward trajectory, with downloads peaking at 35K and active users reaching a high of 119K in late May.

Outfit7 Limited's Talking Tom Gold Run maintained strong download numbers throughout the quarter, starting with 995K and rising to a peak of 1M in mid-April. Weekly active users showcased an upward trend as well, soaring from 8.85M to 9.47M by the end of June.

My Talking Tom, another Outfit7 Limited creation, saw its downloads surge to 1.43M in late April, while active users showcased significant growth, from 16.29M to over 20M during the same period. The game's revenue displayed a peak of $43K in late April.

Lastly, Talking Tom Hero Dash, also from Outfit7 Limited, had its highest revenue at the beginning and end of the quarter, reaching $58K and $25K respectively. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, and active users hovered around the 4.5M mark.
